Cindy's Famous Chocolate Chip Pancakes

 This is a requested breakfast at my house, not only from my kids but their friends love them too.  They are decadent and not for everyday....but easy to make and everyone is happy.  Be sure to use Vermont maple syrup for the ultimate experience.

Ingredients:

Any pancake mix, 1 cup (I prefer Krusteaz add water only), 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I prefer mini chips as they melt easily), butter for frying and butter for serving (optional), real Vermont syrup warmed up (can subsitute any syrup)

Directions:

Make pancake mix according to directions. Add chocolate chips. The mix can stand for an hour or so before if that is convenient...it will make the pancakes lighter, put about 2 TBS butter in hot frying pan and melt, add pancakes with TBS so they do not touch about 5 per batch. when pancakes start to bubble it is time for flipping, flip once. Return to a dish and continue making batches, adding butter as needed. Serve with warm syrup and butter.
