Simple Chicken Parm
SallyServe with your favorite pasta or garlic bread
  • 1 large package chicken tenders, pounded flat
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce
  • 1/2 lb of mozzarella  cheese
  • 1/4 grated parmesan cheese
  • pound chicken flat and dredge in bread italian crumbs
  • heat oil in pan, when the oil has a "ribbon" effect add chicken pieces
  • turn chicken after the edges are browning and chicken isn't sticking to the pan
  • cook other side, remove from pan and drain chicken on a paper towel
  • pour 1/3 of jarred sauce in the bottom of the baking dish
  • add chicken pieces
  • add 1/2 of the cheeses spreading evenly
  • add the rest of the sauce spreading evenly
  • add the rest of the cheese spreading evenly
  •  cover with foil and pop into the oven
  • cook for 15-18 minutes this way, take off foil and cook for another 10 minutes or until the top turns golden
