Leek and Mushroon Sauce
SallyCan use this recipe for a soup base or base for chicken saute. If using for a saute, add cooked chicken breast, cover and cook for 10 more minutes and until you have a rich thicker sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 3 leeks, cleaned, rinsed and cut into small rounds
  • 4 cups of chopped mushrooms
  • 1 galice clove crushed
  • 1/2 cup of cream sherry
  • 2 cups of chicken stock 
Directions:
  • melt butter and add leeks and garlic
  • cook until tender
  • add mushroom and cook until tender
  • add sherry and cook for 3 minutes
  • add stock, cover and cook for 10 minutes
