Cole Slaw Houston's
Cindy

I love this cole slaw that is inspired from the famous restaurant Houston's.  What sets it apart is the horseradish flavor and parsley which is great for taste and color.  It is chopped not shredded and uses green onions.  It is delicious with ribs or any dish where you would serve cole slaw.

Ingredients:
  • 5 cups chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 TBS prepared horseradish
  • 1 TBS dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp white vinegar or cider vinegar
  • 2 TBS pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
  •  Blend cabbage, green onion, and parsley with a litttle salt and set aside
  • Mix remaining ingredients very well
  • Fold desired amt of dressing into cabbage mixture.  I generally reserve about 1/3 to not over dress.
  • Serve immediately or store over night.
