Grandpas's Soup
Dorothy...Cindy's sister

 3 cloves garlic sliced

2 eggs lightly beaten 

3TBS olive oil

i box chicken broth or 2 cans

bunch of fresh spinach leaves or fresh chopped parsley (optional)

1/2 lb small pasta like dittalini, pastina, or orzo

salt and black pepper

Grated cheese


1.  Boil water for pasta....make al dente and drain and set aside.

 2. Meanwhile, saute garlic in olive not brown.

3.  Add the chicken broth and bring up to temperature.  Add the pasta, spinach, or parsley, salt and pepper.

4.  With the broth very hot slowly stream egg mixture in stirring quickly with a fork.

5. Serve with grated cheese

Serves:Serves 4-6
