Kielbasa and Sauerkraut

Ingredients:
  • 2 1 lb packages kielbasa (can be any variety)
  • 1 (2 lb) large package of sauerkraut
  • 1/8 cup of carreway seeds
  • 1 cup of light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of white wine
  • Serve with rolls and mustard
Directions:
  • remove kielbasa from package and split it lengthwise
  • then cut into quarters and place into the pan
  • Drain sauerkraut into a colindar and rinse with cold water
  • Squeeze all the liquid from the sauerkraut.
  • Lay sauerkraut over the kielbasa and add remaining ingredients and stir
  • Cover with tin foil and cook in a heated oven for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally
  • Remove and serve on toasted rolls with hot mustard or alone.
